PROFILE
Véronique Massie is a self-taught French painter born in 1964. She creates works encoded on large metal plates. Her art is not simply a practice, but a natural extension of her being.
Far from academic paths, Véronique has woven her artistic web through diverse experiences. Véronique's creative process is not only part of the artistic repertoire. It goes beyond codes by drawing its essence from the invisible realm.
His creations invite the viewer to perceive another world, a world of which he is not really aware and to connect with subtle information encoded at the very heart of each creation. Faced with the work he has the choice of being carried away to another elsewhere, just another place where he alone has the controls.
The power and softness of the creations allow him to feel powerful emotions that accompany him with his agreement towards a state of peace.
Symbols and inscriptions placed directly on the metal are covered by successive layers of acrylic paint colors, applied with a spatula, a brush, a paintbrush, sometimes spread under the passage of a cloth like a vertical wiping, as if to erase everything, simply leave what must be, just the best, the most powerful, the softest too. The alchemy of colors seems an olfactory composition, like the creation of a perfume, just with the purest essences.
Subsequently, Véronique channels a text which completes the creation, like a final layer, providing a complementary reading of the work concerned, adding the final touch, just so that the creation is completed and restores its full potential.
ART AS A PORTAL
Each of us is immersed in a common energy field. We ourselves, as well as every object, produce our own energy field that gravitates around us for several meters sometimes. It is therefore understandable that we are in continual interaction with the energy fields around us, reminding us that the "void" does not exist and is composed, among other things, of energy, called by some cultures, "Qi", "Prana". Our own energy field reflects our emotional and mental state of the moment and is sensitive to its environment and its interactions. We then know that everything around us has a vibrational energy and vibrates at a certain frequency. In the same way that we are invisibly affected by the waves emitted by our cell phones, we are subtly influenced by all kinds of vibrations. The metal, the support of the paintings, which also produces its own energy field comes into play. The colors visible and invisible to the naked eye (in natural light conditions) placed on the metal plates correspond to various frequency bands (wavelengths) also intervene in the process. By approaching the œWorks"INVISIBLE LIGHT Process" our own energy field meets that produced by the work. At this moment, the painting will, like a switch, allow access through our emotions to a program located in the invisible field. Depending on our experiences, our beliefs and our abilities, this allows us to explore a return to inner peace, joy and love.
